Know the moment your plant goes over a permit limit.
Herus reads your air permit, checks it against the plant data you already collect, and alerts the right person when a limit is crossed. For industrial facilities with Title V or state air permits: refineries, chemical plants, power generation, manufacturing and more.
A permit violation can go unnoticed for months.
Your plant already monitors every sensor, flow and pressure point. None of those systems know what your permit says. So a limit gets crossed and nobody finds out until the next quarterly compliance review, while penalties add up for every day it continues. The maximum federal penalty is $124,426 per day, for each Clean Air Act violation (40 CFR 19.4).
How it works
Send us your permit. We go through it condition by condition and match each one to how it's checked: a sensor reading, a field observation, or a record you keep.
We connect to the data you already have. Herus reads from the historian you already run, such as AVEVA PI. You don't need new hardware, and your plant data stays on your network.
Your team signs off. Nothing goes live until your people approve it. After that, Herus watches every condition around the clock.
What you get
Alerts that reach someone. When a reading goes over its limit, the person responsible hears about it. If they don't respond, the alert moves up the chain until someone does. If a sensor stops reporting, you hear about that too.
Warning before you hit a limit. For limits measured as an average over time, Herus shows how close you are and the date you'd go over at the current rate.
A clear view of what's covered. Every condition in the permit, with how it's checked. Field checks and recordkeeping are on the same list, and anything without coverage stands out.
Your Title V certification, drafted. For each condition, the annual certification asks how you determined compliance. Herus fills that in, and your team reviews and signs.
